Village Roadshow sought better CX for e-commerce.
With over 70 cinemas and 8 major theme parks across the country, iconic Australian brand Village Roadshow sought a completely new digital CX for its over 2M annual cinema-going customers—including e-commerce function like click-and-collect, ticketing, and in-seat ordering.
So we built a fully responsive mobile and web experience.
Trideca worked with Village Roadshow leadership to map e-commerce opportunities like click & collect-style functionality and in-seat delivery to enhance CX and drive revenue. We assembled an onshore engineering team of React experts, then worked inhouse alongside Village Roadshow engineers to rapidly develop while fully integrating with core systems.
Tested and deployed in Gold Class and rolled out nationally.
A single code base was designed to work across mobile and web while seamlessly integrating with existing ticketing, payment services and e-commerce. We deployed early enough to include additional features beyond the original phase — which was then launched initially to their Gold Class customers, followed by a national rollout across all cinemas and theme parks.
